DETAIL
2020-2024
Layered red carbon frottages, mixed media
19" x 24"

DETAIL shot of layered red carbon frottages transformed with mixed media and an additional pastel frottage once removed from the building's footprint. The blue frottage is made by placing one of the stitched pieces under the paper. The stitch covers the original frottage marks made by the building.

This is what the image looked like before it was cut and reassembled and stitched with blue cotton thread. The stitch covers half of the frottage marks as of end of 2023. This was the first of all Hahnemühle to receive the blue thread. The others followed.
